HACK <CX> TOGETHER 2025 – Igniting Innovation and Bridging Academia with Industry in the Digital Banking Era
Hanoi, June 21, 2025 – At the Digital Economy and Technology Conference – ECOTECH 2025, organized by the Institute for Digital Economy and Technology (BK Fintech) – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), HACK <CX> TOGETHER 2025 officially announced its winning teams and honored the most outstanding Customer Experience (CX) technology solutions in digital finance and banking. As AI and digital technologies are increasingly reshaping how businesses create value and serve customers, the competition aimed to foster meaningful collaboration between universities and businesses in search of practical innovation.

HACK <CX> TOGETHER 2025 is a large-scale technology and innovation challenge designed to connect businesses, universities, and young tech talents to solve real-world problems in the finance–banking sector, with a strong focus on optimizing user experience in digital environments. The competition is co-organized by BK Fintech – HUST, Techcombank, and Lead Consulting, with strong support from major tech partners including AWS, Centic, AI4LIFE, BK Entrepreneurship Center, and the HUST Youth Union, along with nearly 60 experts and mentors from academia and industry.
With a customer-centric approach, the challenge topics were designed based on real business needs from a leading bank, covering areas such as: AI-generated financial content, real-time fraud detection, ESG spending scoring, loan approval classification, personalized digital banking experiences, risk forecasting and portfolio management, customer journey analysis and AI-powered touchpoint optimization, and credit scoring for crypto users.

In just 19 days of registration (from May 18 to June 5), the competition received applications from 106 teams with nearly 170 innovative ideas — far exceeding expectations and demonstrating the strong appeal and wide-reaching impact of the event in the tech and student communities nationwide. After a rigorous selection process, the Top 24 teams were chosen to enter the Mentoring Round. Over seven days, teams worked closely with nearly 60 industry experts from Techcombank, HUST, Lead Consulting, AWS, and other partners to refine their ideas. They then advanced to the 36-hour Hackathon Round, where they coded, designed, and presented their solutions with ongoing expert guidance, turning ideas into real, testable prototypes.
