RECAP OF THE INTERNATIONAL TOFAS 2025–2026 AWARD CEREMONY
On the morning of March 29, 2026, immediately following the final round, the Award Ceremony of the International TOFAS 2025–2026 officially took place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, marking the successful conclusion of an exciting and inspiring season for more than 10,000 students nationwide.
TOFAS 2025–2026 represents a significant milestone, as it is the first time the competition has integrated both Mathematics and Programming into a single season. This creates a more comprehensive academic platform aligned with the trends of digital-era education.
After progressing through multiple rounds, from preliminary stages to the final round with over 1,600 outstanding contestants, the competition not only assessed students’ abilities but also helped them identify their strengths and better shape their future learning paths.
The Award Ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished leaders, experts, and business representatives, including:

The event also welcomed media representatives, school leaders from Hanoi, and over 1,000 parents and students, creating a formal yet emotionally engaging atmosphere.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Binh Minh, Director of the Institute for Digital Technology and Economy, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, highlighted the strong enthusiasm students have for Mathematics and Programming. He emphasized that the International TOFAS 2025–2026 serves as a prestigious platform where students can strengthen their problem-solving mindset while learning to apply technology in their studies.
“We are living in a technological era where digital innovation is transforming every aspect of daily life. As a result, education and learning methods are continuously evolving to become more innovative and creative. In the age of digital transformation and AI, international competitions like TOFAS provide students with opportunities to take initiative in learning and be better prepared for global integration.”
The integration of mathematical foundations into programming is considered a forward-looking approach. Educators and school leaders whose students participated in TOFAS 2025–2026 expressed their hope that the competition will continue to expand its reach, enabling more students across the country to access both Mathematics and Programming. This serves as a strong foundation for developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam’s digital economy in the future.
